Clay Hamrick, PGA Professional
Battlefield Golf Club
Clay is considered an expert instructor for the Stack and Tilt Teaching Model. His main philosophy centers on the idea that the less moving parts of the swing the less probability for error. He recognizes everyone to be an individual, but also understands that a student must have an understanding of the components of their swing that work and those components that do not work. Swing Structure is of paramount importance.
Clay uses video instruction for every lesson and understands that the video is necessary to diagnose and analyze swing maladies. He uses his extensive background with club fitting to put the student in a golf club that will work for them.
Clay’s broad understanding of Sports Psychology has brought him to the notion that the physical body and the thought process must work together to produce stable emotional states.
